Railsware anniversary virtual celebration at Party.Space
Railsware is a software development company building unique web and mobile applications. They deliver full-cycle product development, from scoping and production to deployment and support. Their portfolio of products includes Mailtrap and Smart Checklist for Jira, which have over 600K users and generate over $1M in annual recurring revenue.
Challenge
Railsware is an international company with employees in over 15 countries. This year was special for Railsware as it marks the company’s 15th birthday in July! To celebrate this milestone, Railsware decided to throw a party in a virtual world.
It’s already the second event for the year that Railsware is organizing in the metaverse. The first one was a virtual team building with interactive quizzes that took place in February 2022.
After that first successful virtual team building, the team decided to use the platform again to organize their next virtual party, this time for a birthday celebration.
At the party, there were more than 100 attendees from different countries such as Ukraine, Georgia, Poland, and others that took part in the celebration. Everyone could attend using their avatar or simply by logging in to the website using the invite link.
The Solution
Virtual celebrations in 3D spaces allow participants to brand the space, communicate with other guests through video chats, play engaging games, and participate in various activities. Due to the event being hosted virtually, there are no geographical boundaries. The party is accessible to anyone, no matter what part of the world they reside in.
Partying with your entire team while attending remotely is now a truly immersive and fun experience thanks to metaverses by Party.Space. The platform allows for the creation of highly interactive and engaging virtual spaces powered by 3D technology.
Party.Space teams completely customized a metaverse with branded colors to meet the specifications and expectations of Railsware. The party was organized without any need to install plugins or additional software. Within the space were several activities for the party’s attendees:
- Listening to live music performed by a DJ
- Playing different board games
- Participating in the Quiz contest
- Shooting metaphotos and much more
The Results
The virtual party was hosted at Party.Space metaverse platform on July 29th. The Party.Space’s metaverse allowed Railsware to not only celebrate its anniversary but also get in touch with overseas employees and give them the ability to celebrate together.
Guests spent an average of two hours in the metaverse having conversations, competing in quizzes, and listening to the DJ set. The event was a great chance for employees to bond and celebrate the company’s achievements over the past year.
The event was so remarkable, it reminded me of how badly I’m missing Summer Trips / Company Gatherings.
Aleksandr Kunin, Full Stack Engineer at Railsware
Just like in February, the team members were involved in activities that were hosted on the platform, including built-in games and quizzes. Venue changes and the additional variety of entertainment created a unique vibe for the metaverse party that set it apart from all previous offline and online celebrations.
With Party.Space, you can organize and host any type of metaverse celebration, including retreat parties, team-building activities, product launches, and anniversaries. Check out our portfolio for more use cases.
