Halloween Quiz Night: Google experience
Halloween is one of the most popular and anticipated American holidays for children and adults, celebrated on October 31st every year. Popular Halloween activities include attending Halloween costume parties, trick-or-treating, carving pumpkins into jack-o’-lanterns, telling scary stories, and many other pastime activities. But the most important part of any holiday is the opportunity to get together with family, friends, and even colleagues.
Google LLC is an American multinational technology company focusing on search engine technology, online advertising, cloud computing, and much more. The company expands the possibilities of digital services, diversifies its workforce, and develops products that improve people’s lives.
Google is a company that always looks for unconventional solutions to team building and leisure activities for its employees. And Halloween night was no exception.
Google has a unique corporate culture that always tries to put employees first and satisfy their needs. It is essential that employees focus on getting results towards the last months of the year. Not surprisingly, this is also when employees’ mental health is most vulnerable to stress.
That’s why Halloween parties are such an excellent opportunity to get teams together, have fun, and relax, no matter your location.
The Party.Space team was issued the task of creating a creepy but, at the same time, fun atmosphere capable of immersing the guests and getting them into the right mood. A Halloween quiz night is a great way to start things off.
Party.Space developed a special virtual space, Horror Academy, the layout of which immerses guests in a spooky atmosphere of All Hallows’ Eve. The company played a thematic quiz hosted by Kane Hodder, the star of the “Friday the 13th” movie franchise.
The interior mimics the Horror Academy’s library: wooden furniture, pumpkins, candles, and skeletons. Spooky music adds the feeling that you are inside a horror movie.
The Night’s Agenda proceeded as follows:
- guests get acquainted with the possibilities of space
- introduction to the Horror Quiz
- Trivia quiz game
- networking and free time to explore the space and find Easter eggs
The atmosphere was easy to adapt to the main event of the evening — a quiz. The questions pertained to Halloween traditions and other topics such as movies, history, culture, etc.
The Google team jumped into the game. The competitive spirit was palpable in the air. Everyone was trying to be next on the podium.
The guests actively responded to Kane Hodder’s comments and jokes and thoroughly enjoyed the questions.
Party.Space showed that even the scariest holiday can be fun and easy. The Party.Space team is ready to create the perfect metaverse for any event.
Our Horror Academy is open 24/7 all year. So you can book a space with friends or a team to play our horror quiz and get immersed in a scary atmosphere at any time.
