Google Roast Party: first metaverse experience
Google LLC is an American multinational technology company focusing on search engine technology, online advertising, cloud computing, and much more. The company is dedicated to expanding the possibilities of digital services, diversifying its workforce, and developing products that improve people’s lives.
Google has always been unusual in its approach and decisions, whether it’s their bright logos or dancing doodles. As a result, the company has a distinct and forward-thinking corporate culture.
Google is one of the largest technology companies and cares about each employee enough to invest hundreds of millions of dollars into creating an ideal work environment.
The company’s corporate culture is a model for everyone. Google strongly believes that happier employees are more productive and creative. That’s why even farewells can be a reason to celebrate and give team members unforgettable emotions.
The Challenge
Party.Space had to create the perfect farewell party for a remarkable person at Google. Chris Williams is a person who became an essential part of the lives of many of his colleagues.
Chris is the team’s soul and everyone loves him. Thus Google wanted to make the farewell unusual in the form of a roast party.
A roast is a form of humor in which a specific individual, a guest of honor, is subjected to jokes at their expense, intended to amuse the event’s wider audience.
The Party.Space team designed the event to honor Chris in an individual and unique way.
The Solution
Google and Party.Space collaborated to implement the ideal virtual environment for the occasion. We included photos with funny and touching moments related to Chris in the hall while he was featured prominently during the roast.
The whole of Chris’s team shared the most memorable stories about him: his first day at the company, funny moments at the office, life facts, and other stories. It was incredibly touching and valuable that Google shared amongst his team, not only public moments but also personal ones as well. There were also unique jokes and memes.
Party.Space used all the information to not only decorate the event but also to create a particular quiz including jokes for a roast party.
The guests were greeted with a cozy, intimate atmosphere, which broadcasted all the love and respect that colleagues used to cooperate.
The Result
More than 30 people on the team gathered for the farewell party. Everyone actively participated in the event and actively discussed what was going on in the chat.
In addition to the quiz, Chris, who was very moved, gave his speech. It was a pleasant surprise that his team came on stage and told their best memories and funny stories to the audience about him.
The party ended up lasting longer than planned, but it was worth it because of the many touching moments that even brought tears to the eyes of Chris’ team in the metaverse.
Party.Space is delighted to have helped host another memorable event. We are ready to host any virtual event in the format of a roast party. Whether it’s a farewell party, a birthday, or a corporate event, we’ll create the perfect metaverse for your event.
