Obrio hosted a metaverse meeting with 100+ people at Party.Space

Genesis is a co-founding company that builds global tech businesses with outstanding entrepreneurs from central and eastern Europe. Apps of Genesis companies have been downloaded by more than 300M users globally and are used by tens of millions of users every month.

Genesis has co-founded independent tech companies such as Jiji, BetterMe, and Headway. They launched, and are currently developing, successful projects such as OBRIO, Universe, AMO, Boosters, and others.

Due to the war in Ukraine, many employees relocated. This prompted Genesis’s search for the best method of hosting meetings online so everyone could join them, no matter their location. Only now, hosting ordinary video calls isn’t stimulating anyone’s attention in any meaningful way. That’s why OBRIO has decided to host virtual meetings that deliver the benefits of both online sessions and real-life conferences.

Party.Space was the platform that stood out, so we quickly contacted their team and began making preparations. After getting the technical details sorted, we created a branded 3D environment and configured immersive video communication coupled with a custom quiz, which we’d introduce at the end of the meeting.

Challenge

Every three months, OBRIO hosts The Episode — a regular, company-wide gathering where every employee and speaker meets to discuss the previous quarter. On July 1st, OBRIO team planned The Episode and contacted Party.Space to host its metaverse event for the first time.

Genesis wanted to host a virtual meeting that would satisfy specific requirements such as:

• New interactive and engaging experience
• User-friendly platform
• Fully customizable, branded 3D metaverse
• Ability to identify new business opportunities in a virtual space

The Episode at the end of September was no less exciting for the whole OBRIO team for the second time.

Solution

Party.Space team created a custom metaverse where each participant could interact with other guests. The event’s main objective was to inform attendees about the company’s results and set new goals for the next quarter.

The entire conference hall was designed to allow attendees to discuss their success stories on the main screen without using the standard Zoom or other online platforms that are often used for such meetings but have many of the same limitations in common.

While watching live retrospective presentations, each participant could listen to the speaker and discuss their thoughts and ideas with other people sitting at their table.

In the end, the Party.Space team prepared a special quiz to determine the firm’s most intrigued connoisseurs.

Results

In every Episode, over 100 people joined the metaverse event via Party.Space. In total, guests spent more than 5 hours in the 3D space for a single meeting, having conversations and listening to the latest company-wide updates.
