Birthday Party in the Metaverse: RIA.com Experience

Millions of customers trust RIA.com marketplaces like AUTO.RIA and DOM.RIA every day. That’s why the Ukrainian product company RIA.com was determined to celebrate its founding in a way that not only commemorates its services, but the level of trust it has earned among customers.

RIA.com has created reliable and modern marketplaces for each user. So Party.Space would have to create a remarkable virtual space for celebrating the company’s birthday. This meant incorporating its values and vision for every employee.

The Challenge

The RIA.com team comprises almost 400 professionals who understand quality tech products, so the Party.Space team challenged themselves to create a unique metaverse that would satisfy that expected level of quality.

The virtual space should reflect the main goals and culture of the company but, at the same time, correspond to the spirit of an informal holiday party.

The event included an official introduction with greetings from the management team and a fun quest, quiz, and other games.

Party.Space went to work addressing these wishes with a 3D world to create the perfect environment.

The Solution

The team developed a virtual space that included several rooms for guests to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the celebration.

The main hall gave off a celebratory effect where attendees gathered to listen to the welcome speech and start the party.

Additional smaller rooms made it possible for guests to gather for private conversations in more intimate groups or face to face, but at the same time, watch the main events of the evening on the big screen.

The gallery gave way to a unique atmosphere that showcased the company’s exciting path while drawing attention to its future aspirations.

Party.Space and RIA.com team prepared a virtual quest and games that allowed visitors to distract themselves at a convenient time with effects that added to the interactivity of the celebration.

Before ending the event, the RIA.com team participated in a quiz where guests could test their professional and general knowledge in a competitive format and receive a nice reward.

The Result

More than a hundred guests came to the party in the virtual environment and plunged into the 3D world of RIA.com. The online party took place in a warm lamp atmosphere. The metaverse included all the company’s wishes — technology, conciseness, and easy accessibility. The spattering of emojis in the space showed the level of enthusiasm of every attendee.

Our team RIA.com creates technological products. So we wanted to organize a special day, the company’s birthday, with the involvement of technology and create a sense of unity. Together with Party.Space, we managed to transform physical kilometers and find ourselves side by side again.
